Reads Coffee Roasters is an award-winning family run business specialising in the traditional drum roasting of Single Estate Arabica coffee and our unique range of Espresso Blends. We offer advice on coffee-equipment and training on all aspects of the coffee making process, whether at workshops for home users, or Barista training sessions for our commercial customers. Based in Sherborne, Dorset, we provide a personal roast-to-order service to trade and retail clients throughout the UK. Whether a shop or Cafe needing help with a complete espresso system or a customer looking for advice about the best home grinder, we are on hand to help educate and support.
After a career working with large Café operators, including Whittards and five years as Pret A Manger’s first Coffee Man, Giles purchased his first roaster in 1998, founding Reads Coffee. 2014 saw a major investment in the future, with Reads now operating the latest 25 kilo drum roaster from Probat in order to ensure the best possible results when roasting of some of the World’s finest beans. Whether an espresso batch for a Cafe or a small batch single origin, we can guarantee that our coffee is being roasted with perfect consistency and control.
